This was the best hostel of our eight-day trip across Denmark, from the northern tip to the southern islands. Don't pay attention to Camilla's nonsense review. The location isn't ideal, about a 30-minute walk from Nørre Alslev station, but this hidden gem is well worth it. It felt somewhere between a hostel and a hotel, with great facilities and amenities and a friendly lady. The value is incredible, hard to beat anywhere in expensive Scandia! The breakfast package is well worth buying with the room. Part of me hopes more people discover the place, though I also worry popularity could spoil something this great. The open Wi-Fi was the one catch: it could be slow to connect or browse, though after a while I managed to stream some Netflix shows just fine.

It was okay. The toilet and shower unit in the room was kind of neat, but it made the whole room smell really bad. The window was open when we arrived, probably because of that.

For how little it cost, it was pretty good. There were a few spiders in the room, and some odd dunking noise went on all night, though the price was really cheap.
