We’re here for a second time and loving it. The hosts are kind and considerate, and they do what they can to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. It’s a beautiful place, almost like paradise, and breakfast is available.

We’re from Ukraine and were under a lot of stress after leaving our relatives. We were so fortunate to find Ole and Dorte, a wonderful family who treated us like their own. Our children grew very attached to them. Ole and Dorte even built a playground in the backyard and brought lots of things for the children: toys, books, musical instruments, clothes, a stroller, and a huge chalkboard. Each morning they greet us with fresh homemade bread. They made crochet items with a Ukrainian theme for our little ones, and have taught us how to care for the flowers and cut the grass. We’re grateful for everything. Love from us!!! 👩🏽👧🏼👶🏼🙋🏼♀️ Inna & Ira

For a peaceful stay with nature and beautiful fjord sunsets, Margretelyst is wonderful. The fjord is only a short walk away, and both Aalborg and Aarhus are about an hour’s drive if you’re missing city life. The hosts are so welcoming and lovely, you really feel at home. Everything gets top marks from us, and we highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back ❤️👍🇩🇰
