I especially enjoyed the quiet walks by the sea and through the forest, with all the sounds of nature, and the evening sauna program with the sauna master. Even in rainy weather, there’s plenty to do indoors, including a pool, sauna, ice tube, jakuzi, and a game room with billiards, table football, computer games, and a playground. We visited at the end of October and start of November, and it was still a great place to stay with kids in low season. Outside there are trampolines, playgrounds, tree climbing, and football pitches. The mini safari cars, mini golf, and padel court cost extra. The pool, sauna, ice tube, and jakuzi were included in the comfort loge price.

The kids loved every minute. Our eldest, who’s 7, called it the best campsite he’d ever been to, and I can see why. There was so much to do that we could easily have stayed another week. Our pitch was a good size and less than a minute from an amazing beach. Every staff member was incredibly helpful, especially when we asked about food because our son has a nut allergy. We’d had some doubts about booking Feddet because of its size and a couple of negative reviews, but the stay was perfect.

Great cabins, a wonderful setting, and plenty of amenities. Handy for visiting nearby villages like Præstø, hiking in the forests, or catching a train to KBH from Køge N. I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s loads to do here, even when tent camping with a teenage boy in bad weather, and we took it at a relaxed pace. The shared kitchens were a nice surprise, as was the little shop, which has good supplies. I hadn’t brought anything to cook with, unfortunately. One downside: restaurant service can be VERY slow, so go outside the busy times if you eat there. We were taking it easy, though, and still had a great experience 😁
