The vegan plate was the standout for me: fried vegetables, rice, falafel and onion rings, all really tasty. My friend’s plaice with new potatoes and parsley sauce was excellent too, and the portions were generous. We only stopped for lunch, but Pia gave us a warm welcome and even said we could leave our bikes unlocked. We started with Tuborg Green, chips, and a fresh salmon and prawn cocktail. Femø Kro has a lovely setting, and the island is superb. I hesitated to write this in case too many people showed up at once, but the place deserves the praise. Thanks to the owners and friendly staff for making lunch such a pleasure.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the inn was fine for a two-night stay. The food is very Danish. What held it back for me was the smoking: the bar opens onto the dining area, and people smoke there, so the smell and smoke spread through the whole main building. If they did something to contain it, I might give it another star.

The people are lovely, and the place has a warm, familiar feel. Cozy spot, and the food was nice too, for Denmark 😋.

The food was below average. As someone with asthma, I found it awful that cigarette smoke was everywhere and I couldn't be anywhere without being exposed to it.

Such a lovely little inn, really beautiful. The owners are lovely too, and the food was wonderful.
