The room was very hot, and when I asked for a fan, I was told they weren't prepared for warm weather and didn't have one. The place was under construction. Rooms were small and outdated, and the bathroom was terrible, with a shower drain plug and fungus on the wall.

The restaurant and friendly staff are the strongest points here, especially for a roadside stop. The exterior has charm, too. I never expected a modern luxury hotel, and if you think of it as a characterful place to pause on a journey, you should be fine. If older decor bothers you, the nicer rooms don't cost much more. For a modern feel, choose a modern chain hotel instead.

The restaurant was the best part of the evening. The food was fantastic, and the waitress really knew her job, from the dishes to the wine and whisky. Service that good is hard to find anywhere in the world, honestly. I recommend the hotel and come back whenever I'm in Denmark. Thank you.

We were very happy with our overnight stay. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious, compliments to the chef, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety. The staff were incredibly friendly. Our room was small but clean, though there wasn't any soap in the shower.
