We got a big room for what was probably the best value I’ve had in Denmark. Check-in was self-service and everything was clearly laid out, with the place very, very clean. It felt a bit strange that we hardly saw anyone, apart from one other tourist. We skipped breakfast because it seemed a little expensive. There aren’t any restaurants within walking distance, but it was okay, and the place was calm and peaceful.

The main thing here is value: a clean, bare-bones place to sleep, eat, and bathe. I wouldn’t bring a date here to impress them, but you won’t be disappointed if that’s what you need. I booked online for the price and convenience since I was arriving close to midnight, and got a code for the building and room. I wasn’t expecting much, and in the USA that kind of setup could mean a flea-bag. Instead, there was reserved parking and easy access. The room was spartan, like a dorm room, but much cleaner, ha! There’s no A/C, so I opened the window. It wasn’t too noisy, even in the morning. Breakfast came with bread, cereal, cheese, yogurt, juice, and something the Scandinavians call coffee.

For a one night stay, we got a clean room with a comfortable bed. We hadn’t expected basic breakfast to be included, and it was definitely good value. Free parking was available on the premises too.

The place is quiet and easy to find, and the simple accommodation is affordable. My only issues were the slow WiFi, since my mobile internet was much faster, and having just one bath towel. I’d expected a hand towel as well.
