Whenever I'm in North Jutland, Jutlandia Hotel is my first choice, and this stay was just as good as the others. The place feels comfortable from the moment you arrive, with rooms that are well appointed and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The staff are warm and professional, and the facilities and attention to detail are consistently good. I can't recommend it highly enough. Five stars, no question.

I barely slept because the place was so loud. I could hear everything from the rooms around me, above and below, and somehow I ended up with a single bed. For an old place, it was overpriced.

The restaurant was lovely, with a high standard at both breakfast and dinner, and the rooms had comfortable beds. The staff were great too. Downstairs, the attached Bull pub is a good spot, with pool tables and shuffleboard, and a nice lady running it. But I wouldn't stay again because of the noise. The rooms don't insulate sound well, and during the week the hotel fills with shipyard contractors who start at 7am, along with ferry passengers. People are up early, and even when nobody is being noisy on purpose, sounds carry constantly into the rooms. Avoid a room on the 5th floor beneath the restaurant if you can, since noise travels down and may wake you before 6am.

After driving for hours, we got in very late, past 12.00 midnight. They still let us order a couple of drinks, which we really needed. Good service.

The hotel was quite a distance from Aalborg airport, where we landed, but staying there was worth it. Our room was nice, and the breakfast was buffet style, so there was a choice of things to eat. I believe breakfast was free from 0600 AM - 0900 AM. The balcony also had a nice view. I'd definitely recommend it.
