The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, but that gave our stay a nostalgic charm and a personal touch. We loved the sea view from our third-floor room, though it would've helped to know beforehand that there was no lift. Booking.com seemed to suggest an upgrade to a room with a bathroom, even though ours already had one. We ate at the hotel one night and the meal was much better than expected. Breakfast was adequate, and the free tea and cake on the terrace was a lovely way to enjoy the sunny afternoon. The small spa was nice and free to use, though the lockers were almost impossible to manage. We also booked a private jacuzzi for an hour and really enjoyed it. The hotel isn't on the beach, but the coastal path from Gilleleje starts behind it. A lovely stay overall, about 4.5 stars.

It was cold outside, so ending the evening by the real fireplace with a glass of whisky was especially nice. We woke up to a sea view, and the spa was great too. It was low season and the hotel was fairly quiet, which made for a lovely romantic night with my wife.

The food was delicious and nicely presented, and we especially enjoyed the saunas and jacuzzi. The Turkish bath wasn't working, which was disappointing. The view from our room was amazing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's in a beautiful part of Zealand and a great spot if you enjoy walks in nature.

The room had a slight smell, and the shower didn't feel very welcoming. Still, we had a great stay and the food was good. The location is beautiful, and the helpful service made things easy. We walked into town and rented bikes, which I'd definitely recommend.

Our spacious, well-kept third-floor room had a beautiful sea view, and parking was easy. A scenic path leads to Gilleleje, which is a picturesque town within walking distance. The hotel has plenty of charm, though it could use a lift. The restaurant feels cozy, but the food and drink options are limited. A nice place for a few days.
