We were only there for one night, but the beds were incredibly comfortable. I slept like a baby and would happily stay again. One thing for arriving guests: the entrance is through the parking area. We came by public transport and found all the other doors shut, but luckily someone from the restaurant showed us the right way in. 😃

The rooms themselves are okay, but the breakfast is really basic and not very good. Most rooms share a bathroom. The reception is almost never open, and the entrance from the parking lot was locked when I got back at 9:30 on a weekday night. The restaurant entrance was closed too. I called the hotel and got an answering machine speaking Danish. So much for being able to reach someone when reception is empty. I wandered around the premises with no one in sight, then found the food delivery entrance. A woman there was on a personal call and waved vaguely in a direction without interrupting it. I followed her gesture through the kitchen and storage area and eventually reached the hotel. Because of her, I didn't have to sleep in my car or look for another place with all my things locked inside this messed-up place. Unbelievable.

The rooms were nice and clean, and I really enjoyed the stay and the good breakfast. Getting service was the downside: they were hard to reach by phone, and it took three emails and a call to get a standard invoice.

I keep enjoying my stays at this cozy place in the heart of Give. It's central, has plenty of parking, and the rooms are easy to reach, while the neighborhood stays quiet. The breakfast is generous and good quality, the staff are friendly and helpful, the white linen sheets are thick, and the rates are reasonable. Thanks again, Diagonalkroen 😊
