Our four-bedroom house, number 826, was comfortable and easy to get around in, with a barbecue area, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi option, and a sauna. The setting is beautiful, and there’s plenty to do outside the resort too, so our family could relax and enjoy Denmark. The kids had fun every day at the playgrounds, and the badeland was fantastic. We also appreciated the very helpful, friendly reception, the well-stocked shop, the excellent service, and the convenient electric car charging station. Everything worked out perfectly for our family trip, and we’d love to return to Landal Søhøjlandet.

There’s enough here to keep the kids occupied and let the adults unwind in all that nature, even during peak season when it doesn’t feel crowded. The drive from Copenhagen takes 3 hours. There’s water play, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, an art and creativity centre, plus massage for adults and a restaurant.

There’s plenty of space for walks, and a big warm swimming area with a sauna, along with football, squash, badminton, table tennis, mini golf, a restaurant and parking. It works well for family activities or a couple’s getaway, though some activities aren’t available all the time.

We’re here for the second year in a row and already plan to return next year. It’s a lovely spot for a short family holiday, with lots for kids of any age to do. The accommodation is clean, cosy and comfortable, the on-site restaurant is pretty decent, and the park shop has everything you need.
