Glostrup Park Hotel

It was a large, comfortable, practical room, and the bathroom was much the same. The breakfast wasn't in the same building, for some reason, and it looked as though the room hadn't been vacuumed before we arrived. For a suburban place so far outside Copenhagen, it was quite pricey.

Breakfast had very few choices, especially for vegans and vegetarians. The rooms were too warm without air conditioning, so we had to open the windows and put up with the noise outside.

Free parking and WiFi, and the price was very good. The staff were polite and kept clearing the breakfast tables, and breakfast is one of the best in the Copenhagen area. That's why it was such a shame that the rooms left us with a bad impression. The room was quiet and had good chairs, but the beds were a bit worn, and the rooms really need freshening up. The curtains were nasty, the soap dispenser didn't work, and the sink and bathtub needed attention. We stayed here in the past, when it was a very nice hotel.

Everything else about our stay was superb: the room, the staff, the breakfast, and being able to leave our luggage. The bus stop is right outside, with a superb service, and there are plenty of excellent places to eat within half an hour's walk at most. Our room faced the main road, though, and we had to keep the window open. The locals' super-loud bikes and cars were the only downside. As someone who travels and stays in hotels regularly, I'd put this one among the greats.
