Kongernes feriepark Camping

The pool was a real highlight, with plenty of loungers, shady places, and tables where we could relax or play cards. Our cabin terrace looked out toward the peaceful pine forest, where we could hear the birds. We also used the guest barbecue, and the playgrounds were popular with the kids. We stayed three nights in the simple but well-equipped '2 pers Dormitory (Pavilion)', with a family bathroom nearby. The large shared kitchen was close too, clean and equipped with a microwave and oven. The WC facilities and the rest of the park were well maintained. The family running Kongernes Feriepark were welcoming from the start and checked that we were comfortable while giving us privacy. Their young daughter was especially sweet and keen to help. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant, now run by a new Spanish chef. The food was truly exceptional, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. It made for a wonderful, peaceful long weekend, and I’d highly recommend the park for a relaxing break.

The pool stays about as clean as you could expect with all those trees around it. The place is affordable and nicely located for shopping, the beach, and sightseeing. It’s old and a bit worn, but they clean it daily, and it feels in line with the price.

There are several places to visit from here, and the beach is about 3.5 km away. My husband, daughter, and I are staying in a room with a garden entrance, in very pleasant surroundings. There’s a pool and playground, and my daughter has already made new friends to play with. The restaurant prices are fair. We’ll come back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the place was messy, and the attractions and playgrounds seemed to get no care.
