Nordic Park

We had a good-sized three-bedroom apartment with a green terrace out back during our July stay as a family of four. The location was good, and we enjoyed strolling around the Nordic Park area. The TV only worked with Chromecast, and there was no hairdryer. Upstairs, the rooms got very hot even though it was cool outside.

We were 15 minutes late checking out, which was our mistake, but we were paying customers and still deserved to be treated respectfully. Instead of simply asking us to hurry, a staff member shouted at us and only yelled in Danish. The accommodation itself was nice, but that experience means I’d never come back.

A supermarket nearby made it easy to get groceries, and the apartment had a well-equipped kitchen. It was tidy, clean, and spacious. The location works well for exploring the beaches in this part of Denmark, though there isn’t much to see within walking distance.

The flat was okay, but there were insulation problems and it was always hot inside, even when the weather was rainy. Some stair handles were loose or broken, and the kitchen lacked basics like a pan, cups, and a toaster. When we asked the owners, they just said some rooms had them and some didn’t. The place has lots of potential, but the owners were very unfriendly. For the price, it was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend it.
