The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and spoke English, which made things easier for visitors like us from England and the Netherlands who may not speak Danish. Fresh bread can be ordered, just remember to collect it from 8 in the morning. Check the calendar for events too. We saw the local fire brigade give a talk and show their equipment. The youngsters loved the sirens and flashing lights. A van serving cooked chicken came the following night, handy if you're tired of cooking. We spent two nights in a non-electric camper van pitch while exploring Denmark. The site was clean and tidy, with some great spots close to the water. It's family and pet friendly, with shallow water suitable for paddling and swimming quite a way out from shore. There are walks along the shore, and the small sandy beach makes it easy to launch into the water. Kids were enjoying crab lines from the jetty. Facilities were top notch: spotless toilets and showers, a kitchen with an oven and hob, a wash-up area, washing machines, recycling and Elsan disposal. There's also a kiosk with essentials, an indoor pool and sauna, a play park, football and basketball, plus SUP and kayak options. I couldn't fault the place and would highly recommend it for a visit to Denmark. 🇩🇰

We'd consider coming back. The sea view is nice, and there's a small shop for things you might need. A larger supermarket is 2 km away and easy to reach by bike or car. The facilities include an indoor pool for kids, which was handy for us on rainy days. The free WiFi signal isn't very strong. It didn't bother me much, but be prepared for that, or try near reception where the signal is a little better.

The plots are a good size, there are cabins and several hiking trails, and there's a cooking area. Waste disposal is available for a fee. The sanitary block in the main building was mostly clean, but the one downstairs was an eyesore every time. Internet was poor, even with the paid option. Still, it's worth a short stay.
