This was about the restaurant, not the hotel. The portions felt a bit small compared with other places of this kind, though the food was otherwise pretty okay. Service was a strange mix of friendly, fun, and slightly rude. We asked for a pitcher of tap water and were told we could only have bottles. Then the table next to us got a pitcher, which seemed odd. Staff said it was because they had also ordered wine. Hmm.

The rooms are basic, but had everything we needed. Breakfast was great for the price, and we didn't miss a thing. A lovely little hotel with really welcoming, friendly people.

We had lovely traditional food, and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and nice, and it's well placed for hiking along "Kongeåstien".
