The food was all really tasty, from the scallops and barbecue menu to the family buffet, even if it wasn't a big gastronomic experience. The family-run summer restaurant had such friendly, welcoming staff, and we got lovely service along with wine recommendations. We stayed one night in the monastery rooms, which were bright and simple, a good fit if you want somewhere quiet and spartan surrounded by nature. It did feel a bit expensive for what you got.

The beautiful surroundings and friendly staff made the stay even better. It was a work trip, so I can't comment on the price, but the accommodation and food were really good.

A special place and setting that gives you room for inspiration, creativity, and exploring inward.

The castle wasn't open when we visited, so we took a walk through the castle garden instead. There are lots of chances for a good walk around the area.

A little gem in Jutland, with a lovely garden and a nice area for walks. Parking was good too.
