The breakfast on Cafe Plateau’s veranda at hotel Klippen was fantastic, with a wonderful view of the sea and harbor. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is what really earned the highest rating from me. We were cycling around Bornholm and stayed one night at Klippen By. Our room was large and clean, with a toilet and shower, just right for a cycling holiday. Don’t miss it!

The view makes it all worthwhile. We went for brunch, with unlimited coffee and great food, though it was quite expensive.

We only stopped in while wandering around Bornholm and had a glass of wine on the terrace, but the views were magnificent and the staff incredibly friendly. I didn’t stay at the hotel, though if I return to Bornholm I’d definitely stay here. When we asked the Icelandic owner about dinner, he said he was making leg of lamb for his staff and there’d be enough to share. My colleague had that with an insanely good mushroom sauce, while I had delicious tomato soup and a salad. The menu didn’t offer many options, which is common in Bornholm, but the meal was absolutely delicious and the view was beautiful. Very highly recommended!
