Peter was such a thoughtful, hospitable host. Jantzens Hotel is charming and cozy, and the bright breakfast room is adorable. There’s a wide choice at breakfast and it’s all delicious. Our room was spacious, with comfortable duvets and pillows. I loved that there was no TV in the room. The shower was a bit small and the seagulls a little noisy, though they added to the seaside feel. We definitely recommend Jantzens Hotel and would love to return.

Breakfast is superb, and the location makes getting around easy: it’s near the harbor, restaurants, bars, and shops, so there’s no hill to climb on the way back. This cozy, clean, warm, comfortable hotel is over 150 years old and perfect for a Gudhjem stay. Nothing to dislike, and every reason to come. We’ll be back!

The breakfast was plentiful and exquisite, and the staff were attentive and always ready to suggest great places to explore around Bornholm. We had the coziest room in an incredibly idyllic hotel and couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. We’ll be back and highly recommend it.

We came for breakfast rather than staying at the hotel, and it was a lovely start to the day. The food was good quality, and the service in the beautiful garden was attentive and friendly. I’d gladly go again.

We used Gudhjem as our base for a long weekend and found it really easy to get around. This is an extremely cute B&B, with super friendly staff, gorgeous decor, and an even more stunning garden. The room balcony looked out over the ocean, and breakfast was included and delicious.
