The setting was quiet and restful, with great sea views and ducks along the shore, plus cormorants and gulls perched on the rocks. We came for a gourmet weekend and found the food far better than expected for such a place. Breakfast was included, with delicious home-baked sourdough and home-smoked salmon. Dinner was innovative, with good wine pairings. It’s also well located for hiking, biking, and exploring nearby villages. Highly recommended.

Mads, our waiter, gave fantastic service on Friday. He suggested dishes that tasted beautiful, was happy to chat, and knew the food he was serving us really well. The restaurant was extremely clean, elegant, cozy, and family-friendly. Even the toilets were so clean I nearly licked one. Five stars are absolutely deserved.

The staff were pleasant and attentive, and we had an impeccable, spotless room with a nice sea view in the main building. A very elegant, classy hotel right by the beach. Highly recommended.

We stopped for lunch and sat looking out at the sea. You can choose to sit inside or outside on the deck. This hidden gem is right on the beach, and after its recent redecoration it looks beautiful inside and out. The owners clearly have great taste in interiors, and the staff were super friendly. We found it while walking along the coast from Gudhjem. Absolutely worth visiting. Next time we’ll book a stay there. Can’t wait!
