The food was great, and the staff were friendly. The castle itself is wonderfully old and full of real history, with peaceful, beautiful surroundings.

We spent most of our short stay in the drawing room, which was lovely. It was an amazing castle experience, with nearly all the rooms and furniture open to use. We booked at the last minute and could only stay one day. Our room was simple but clean, the staff were kind and friendly, and breakfast was fresh and delicious.

The grounds are well kept, with lovely nature walks nearby, and there’s a small museum worth seeing for its impressive collection of Bronze Age spearheads. The beautifully renovated castle has rooms that feel authentic while still being comfortable and modern enough. They welcomed dogs too, so our Westie could stay with us.

The service was incredible and so friendly, and the food was amazing, with a twist on Danish traditions. If you're passing through Fyn, stop by the restaurant. They also serve lovely cake in the cafe.

We just came for a stroll and to look inside the extensive collection of Stone Age flint tools, and it was worth the visit. The beautiful old castle has an interesting history and now operates as a hotel and restaurant.
