Bed & Breakfast Skovkrogen

The room looked great online, and I booked it in a hurry because I was short on time. Once I got the key and went inside, though, it was cold and damp. There was an electric heater, so I cranked it up. After a couple of hours it had reached only about 17 degrees, and the moisture was still everywhere, with water running down the windows. I was coughing and felt uncomfortable, and even thought about finding somewhere else to stay. I switched the heaters off before going to sleep because I was worried something could go wrong while I was asleep. It was an experience I could have done without, and I'm sorry to have to share it with others. Maybe it would have been perfect in July with sunshine and warm weather, but that's not how it was when I stayed. In the end, we got through it and made it to the DM Rally-Obedience Championship, finishing 12th. That result helped me smile again. Regards, Emma 👍 and Brian 🤗😄😄☺️

It's a peaceful, idyllic spot by the water, with a bathing jetty, and the owners are really nice. The buildings are older, with a bit of dust here and there, but for such a low price, what you get makes it recommendable. Shops are in Haarby, about 7 km away.

Our grandchildren call it the luxury hotel, and we can see why. The hosts are lovely and helpful, and the place sits beside a beautiful, spacious garden, with the beach not far away.

It's a tiny, really cozy place out in the middle of nowhere. The people running it are amazingly nice, and I'd definitely stay again.
