The beach is hard to leave, you could spend hours just looking at it. This place feels like another world, and the campsite is a paradise for kids and grown-ups alike. I can’t wait to come back!

We’ve spent 14 days here and I haven’t regretted choosing this campsite once. It’s right on the beach, with lots of shells, so bring some kind of footwear. The water is pretty clear, and the sunrise is beautiful. You can walk quite far out and still be in water below your shoulders, though watch for little crabs 😉 Getting to the facilities is easy, and we haven’t had to wait for a toilet or shower. The pool is fairly small, but warm and roomy enough to relax in, especially after a sea swim. Mini golf was a bit disappointing, but we still got through all 12 holes. There’s a bar for beer and spirits, but no cider 😒. It’s connected to the restaurant, which has a different buffet each evening. The whole slow-roasted pork is highly recommended! There’s also a small kiosk with most of the little things you need for camping. If it doesn’t have what you’re after, the town is a five-minute drive away for groceries, plus Denmarks 2nd most popular waffle house, where you can get a huge ice cream with five scoops of homemade ice cream, softis, and a coconut ball. Lush! The camp staff are friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely come again! 💜

I arrived late one October night with my children, and our clothes were cold and wet from the Danish weather. The owner, Bjarne, kindly dried them in his own dryer. He’s a hero, and he’ll always have a place in our hearts. Five stars from me and my children 🙏❤️

The beach is right there and really picturesque, and the campsite has everything you need. The toilets and bathrooms were clean. My one complaint is that the outdoor fire pit should be farther from the sleeping areas, since smoke bothered us in the evening.

It’s a pretty crowded campsite, so it’s not ideal if you want peace and privacy. The main draw is how kid-friendly it is, with activities planned every day and lots of attention to playgrounds and access to facilities. Pets are welcome too. There’s plenty of convenience on site: a restaurant, fast food, mini market, heated pool and sauna, mooncar rental, a small petting zoo, EV charging stations, and direct beach access once you cross the barrier 🚧.
