The shared facilities were spotless and the place had a peaceful feel. We were welcomed by a very friendly person. Emmaus is set in a lovely historic building, with attractive halls and a staircase. Excellent for the price.

The staff were lovely, and I really enjoyed the delicious meals. Most afternoons I sat among the apple trees in the spring sunshine. I had a thoroughly enjoyable week here.

Emmaus has a gallery full of paintings that I found really interesting. The hostel itself was great too, with very clean rooms and plenty of shared showers and toilets.

A peaceful hostel surrounded by Danish nature. Just right if you want to unwind and take things slowly.
