Enjoy Resorts Römö

I think I’ll rent a proper summer house next time I visit Rømø. These places felt more like apartments than summer houses, and the restaurant food wasn’t good enough to make me want to eat there again. If I want the wellness pool or bowling, I can just pay to use the resort facilities. That seems like the better option to me.

The wellness centre and pool were fine, though they could use some renovation. Their opening days and hours are very restrictive, and you might arrive during a week when some facilities are closed altogether. Translate the schedule and check it before booking. I can’t recommend the stay. It was very expensive for the condition of the houses. Our TV was broken, and reception ignored both the problem and my complaint. You’re expected to check all the kitchen equipment before going in, but the list is only in Danish and the items were mixed up.

Everything seemed fine until checkout, when I got an electricity bill for over 100 euros for just two days. It was summer, and we didn’t use the lights, dishwasher, or washing machine. Watch out for that hidden electricity cost.

We enjoyed our time at the resort, but someone stole my girlfriend’s shoes while we were at the spa. It’s not just the cost, it’s the lack of respect from another guest or a staff member. I hope whoever did it gets what they deserve. The shoes are hard to find again, and there’s proof in my post. If anyone finds them or feels remorse, please reply. Staff barely responded when we reported it and didn’t seem to care. There’s also very little security. Anyone can basically walk into the spa because no one checks for the required bracelets. The financial loss is frustrating: €120 for the Nikes, plus €27 for some cheap replacement shoes from the resort. I can’t replace the Nikes because they’re rare. The size was 37'5.
