Hotel Svalen

I had a bad experience because my car was robbed at night. I stayed for a longer period, and no one came to the room for several days, so the towels and trash were left as they were. Room service wasn’t great. The rooms are nice and cozy, and for the price it’s a good hotel. The place isn’t bad, and all in all it’s a good spot to spend the night.

The shower was a nightmare. I couldn’t keep the shower handle up hands-free without using a cable tie, and the temperature control was unpredictable and hard to figure out. The beds were really comfortable, and the rooms were nice, very clean, and soundproof. Breakfast could use more vegetables and similar options, though I still found it very satisfactory.

The staff were really helpful and very nice, and the breakfast buffet was fine. It’s a good, cheap hotel with a clean, okay room near Roskilde, though there’s nothing fancy about it. I went to two parties here, and the food was great both times. The waiters were fine too.

I’ve stayed at Svalen many times. The food has always been good, and the service has always been great. I’d highly recommend it for events and gatherings.
