Helsingor Camping Gronnehave

For one tent and two people staying just a night, this was a good spot for the price, with a nice view. You’re near both the beach and the center, and the staff were kind. The sanitary facilities were very clean, and you get a great view across the sea to Sweden. Showers take a coin per five minutes, and the shower heads weren’t the best. I’d recommend the place to others.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The amenities were always clean and in pretty good shape, and the campground was neat and tidy. It’s right on the beach, within walking distance of Kronborg Castle and the city centre. We’d come again.

For what it offers, the campsite feels too expensive. It has the basic facilities, but there’s no food bistro. Across the water in Sweden, we’ve seen much more beautiful sites for 50% less.

The pitches were muddy, and the facilities felt old. Showers cost extra on top of an already high price, and the railway nearby was noisy and annoying until midnight. This is the most overpriced campsite we’ve been to in months. Wouldn’t recommend it.
