If you’re after peace and quiet, this was a lovely place. The house was very clean, there were always lots of towels, and the cleaning cupboards were well stocked. The owners were friendly and helpful. Our little girl even got to walk with the sheep while they explained things to her. Cooking for a longer stay was less convenient. The kitchen cupboards were so full of equipment that there was barely room for food outside the fridge, and there were only two small two-burner stoves and a mini oven. The heating could be tricky to start, but once it was going the house felt cozy, though it hummed quite a bit. There were no wardrobes, and the bathroom was so dark and had no window that it was hard to see while showering. 😊
