The owners were so kind and helpful, and we had a lovely stay in this cozy old-fashioned house converted into a genuine bed and breakfast. Our one-year-old was pretty active and noisy, so we appreciated being able to stay a little apart from the other guests in the hunter-hut. The rooms each have their own bathroom, so there was no waiting, and the heated floors felt great after the short walk across the yard from the hut. There's a small kitchen with everything needed, plus board games. We didn't get to enjoy the garden, inner yard, or nearby area, but hope to come back and would recommend it.

The hosts live on site and were welcoming, with good tips about the area and Denmark. The property is about 20 minutes from Aarhus, where I'd suggest the Street Food food vendor markets by the bus station for dinner. There are three guest rooms, each with its own bathroom, though all three bathrooms are on the ground floor of the main guest building. That building has two upstairs rooms, a shared kitchen and a separate cozy dining room, with tea, coffee, a microwave and kettle available. We stayed in the unusual standalone ‘hunting cabin’ beside the family home. It's a large rectangular room with a big bed, a full lounge, a TV with English channels, and hunting memorabilia on the walls. Its bathroom is in the main guest house and has farm-style fixtures, which I liked. I rate this place highly!

The rooms and parking area are a bit small, which is why I took off a star. The breakfast was fantastic, though, and I'm ready to visit again.
