The farm accommodation was a perfect stop on my motorcycle trip from Norway through Denmark to Germany. It's remote and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the ferries, and conveniently close to the ferry for an easy onward journey. Poul was wonderfully warm and welcoming, and made an excellent breakfast. The place has everything you need, and communication was easy since he speaks both German and English. I really enjoyed the stay. For the final stretch, though, a car or enduro would have been more convenient than my motorcycle. I hope you're doing well, Poul, and that we'll see each other again next year.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and had lovely fresh smelling sheets and towels. We stopped on the way back from Herning with our dogs, and the host welcomed us warmly along with his friendly dog Max. It isn't easy finding somewhere willing to take two people and three dogs, so we were grateful everything worked out. The garden was beautiful, and we were treated to a fantastic homemade breakfast with different juices and jams made from the garden.

We were three bikers and got such a warm welcome from Poul. He cooked us a delicious dinner and a great breakfast. The rooms are a little dated, but the accommodation is still very good. It's peaceful, with a lovely view of Hirtshals. If you're after a chance to chat with a local who has plenty to share rather than luxury, this is the place. Thanks for the great moments, Poul.
