The guesthouse is beautiful and spotless, and the host made us feel very welcome. A lovely place for a couple of nights, with a very good breakfast.

The shared living room has comfy couches and pillows, and the owners are friendly and polite. Rooms are spacious and clean, with modern bathrooms and kitchen areas. Breakfast is simple but good. The one drawback is the railway crossing nearby. Its safety bells chime every hour, so it can feel a bit like sleeping near a Swiss church tower. Still, it’s a good place to stop for the night.

My ferry from Hirtshals to Kristiansand was cancelled because of the weather, so I stayed here. The welcome was friendly, and the place is well kept, with a shared kitchen and sitting room. My room was comfortable and had just what I needed, without clutter, plus tea and coffee. Tornby railway station is a very convenient 15-minute walk away.

We had a comfortable stay in a cozy room with a good bed and nice shower pressure. We arrived quite late by train, but the host was still awake to welcome us to the apartment. We didn’t hear any noise inside or outside, which matters a lot to us.
