Tornby Strand Camping

We’ll come back! The camping spots are spacious, the location is great, and the beach is within walking distance. The facilities were clean and new, and the huge playground was well maintained. A great campsite, especially for kids.

There are large pitches for caravans, and good facilities are included in the price. The staff were polite and helpful. Nice place.

The cabin we rented at Tornby Strand Camping was old and didn’t match the well-kept, clean facilities other people describe. It looked clean on the surface, but we found a lot of dust and clipped nails under the bed. Compared with the other cabins, ours made us feel like it had been set aside for people they didn’t want to return, or at least that was the impression we got. The floor was uneven and creaked strangely, as if the cabin might not hold up. I’d give the cabin itself 2 stars. The reception experience was awful, though. The woman there didn’t smile and was very cold and unwelcoming, so I’d give the service 0 out of 5. This was our first and last visit to Tornby Strand Camping. We won’t be back.

So far, this was the best overnight camping stop I’ve had in Denmark. I’ve been cycling around the country for seven days. The lawn where I pitched my tent was really flat, with no little rocks under the surface. The bathrooms and shower room were pretty good too.
