The basement room was a nice surprise. It has table tennis, darts, and a pool table, all in decent condition, and there's a pretty big supermarket next door. The rest of our stay was rough. Our room felt stuffy and smelled of mold, and the air vent was full of it, as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. Most of the room cards didn't work, and there was nobody at reception when we arrived around 8:20 p.m. The owner showed up at about 1 a.m. to warn us about noise complaints from other guests. We were at fault, though we weren't that loud. The building is old and doesn't have proper sound insulation, which wasn't our fault. So far, this is the worst hotel I've stayed in Scandinavia.

Breakfast was the highlight of my two-night stay at Taastrup Park Hotel. There was a good spread of quality food: cheeses, cold cuts, paté, jams, breads, Danish pastries, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and tea. Plenty of seats in the breakfast room, plus a pleasant deck with tables and chairs. My room was simple but practical, with a double bed, desk, coffee and tea, good Wi-Fi, and a decent-sized bathroom. The hotel is across the street from the train station, and frequent trains reach Copenhagen in under 30 minutes. With Copenhagen hotel prices being so high, Taastrup Park felt very reasonable. I enjoyed the stay and thought it was a great little place for a couple of nights.

The location is very handy: six minutes on foot to the train station, seven to the bus station, and a bus stop just 50 meters away. Parking is available, though it's best to find a spot before 16:30. The hotel is somewhat old, but the rooms are okay. Room prices seem fair. Breakfast is limited in choice, and those hours, 06:30-9:00, are quite restrictive.

Juli was amazing after our car broke down and we needed somewhere to stay. So friendly and helpful, and made the whole situation much easier. Best service, and we were able to enjoy our stay. Huge thanks to Juli.

The staff were pleasant and friendly, and breakfast was okay. But this hotel seems to have seen better days. The room was the smallest I've ever stayed in, and the thin walls meant I could hardly sleep because of the person snoring next door. I don't like shower curtains or old carpets because of hygiene, and the furniture was really old. At a cheaper price I might not mind, but it costs about as much as much better hotels in downtown Copenhagen.
