The apartment feels bare and impersonal, and it seems you're paying for the location more than the place itself. It needs a proper deep clean, including the stairwell. Even where surfaces have been wiped, there’s plenty of old grime left. A warmer, more personal touch would help, as would someone to greet guests when they arrive.

Really wonderful.

The location is genuinely good, close to the city, but the apartment itself is very stripped back. The beds were hard, and the duvets and pillows weren’t good. The shower was worn out; it worked, though the whole bathroom ended up wet. It was okay for us, but only just.

The beds are good, and the pedestrian street is just a short walk away. It’s inexpensive, but upkeep is lacking, and sorting out the cleaning can be a bit of a hassle.
