Hotel Baltic

The family room was huge, which worked out great for us. Breakfast was very good, and the brasserie had nice beers and a good menu. We also loved the setting by the sea and little harbor for pleasure boats. We hiked the coastal path with our children, aged 7 and 9, to Sonderborg, which has an amazing range of sights and landscapes. Highly recommended.

The bed was heavenly, and the rooms and atmosphere are beautiful. It's right on a lovely harbour, with an easy spot to dock for swimming. Breakfast was really nice too. This hotel is amazing.

The staff were unfriendly, management was poor, the room facilities were average, and the food was catastrophic. My visit was in the past, and the criticism was deserved. I read that there are new tenants now, so things can only improve. Never again at Hotel Baltic.

We got lucky with a special deal package at 50% off, since I understand the place is quite pricey. I don't drink, and the wine is really rather expensive too. We spent one night at this old, rustic hotel overlooking the Baltic Sea. It was cosy and peaceful, and had more character and taste than most hotels. Dinner was gourmet, with lovely flavors, little adventures, and touches of humor from the chef. An experience you won't forget.
