The warm water had run out by evening, which was a big downside. Still, we found a pleasant, fairly quiet tent pitch and the kitchen seemed fine for cooking. We stayed three nights because this was a handy stop on the way to Legoland. The playground was nice for the kids, and the place was good enough overall, if nothing special.

I wouldn't recommend this place. We were told the swimming pool was available to us, and the website says it's free for guests, but when we went in, the owner made us leave and spoke to us unpleasantly. We also had to pay extra for towels and bedding, something I have never come across anywhere else.

The host was very friendly and helpful, and both the house and the campsite were clean. The houses and garden were also really well maintained. Getting to legoland took just 20 minutes, through lovely countryside.

The setting itself is quiet and peaceful, and not bad at all, but the service was incredibly poor. We were told at reception that we could use the pool, then found out there was an extra charge, even though it was for guests. Bed linen and towels also cost extra. Cleaning was included in the deposit, so be prepared to pay extra for it. I don't recommend it.
