We were glad to find a spot for two days in the middle of the season, and we’d happily come back. It’s a peaceful campsite between the fjord and the sea, with a supermarket very close by. The prices are affordable, and the location is great for surfing or kayaking. At reception there’s a little shop with fresh breakfast rolls and bread each morning, plus basic food, juice and other drinks, ice cream, and potato dishes. The toilets and showers were clean, and there are washing machines too. Kids have playgrounds, and there’s volleyball and ping-pong as well.

For a good price, we got a simple yellow cabin, or caravan, with big windows and everything we needed. It had four beds, a little kitchen, toilet and shower, plus a nice veranda facing the sea.

The sanitary facilities are new, and the campsite sits right beside the fjord. During the main season there’s private access for surfing.
