The location is good, and the first person we spoke to was genuinely kind and helpful. But after we went outside to wait for our other car and came back about ten minutes later, the second person was so unhelpful and gave such poor service that we chose to go elsewhere. Two very different service experiences in a short time, so I’ll give it two stars.

The woman at reception gave us the least friendly welcome we’ve had anywhere in Scandinavia. She seemed like she couldn’t be bothered to help. After explaining where the ACSI pitches were, she then said we couldn’t stay because it was a Danish holiday weekend. We won’t recommend the place or come back.

The prices cover almost everything you need for a good stay, and we loved this beautiful place. It’s a great option with kids if you want to enjoy nature and get away from city life and distractions. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

The location was the best part, with the beach only about 100-200 meters away and Hvide Sande a ten-minute drive. The cabin itself was filthy and really worn down. It looked like nobody had cleaned it after the previous guest, and there was mold in the bathroom as well as dirt almost everywhere. There was a TV but no couch, just one garden chair facing it, which looked pretty funny.

There’s a lot here for campers: several types of huts and cottages for different family sizes, clean and accessible showers, toilets and kitchen, two playgrounds, mini golf, a swimming pool, go-karts for hire, and a little shop. We booked bed sheets and towels, so there was no need to bring our own. At the far end of the site, a gate leads straight to the beach, where the sunsets are wonderful. A great family holiday spot.
