The rooms were disgusting, and the service was absolutely terrible. When I first went into the house, the floor was covered in mud. They asked if I had brought my own water, and when I asked why, they didn't answer. At night I kept hearing fireworks outside my window and a man yelling. This was the worst experience of my life.

We were very happy with our two-night stay, breakfast included. The hosts were really nice. Copenhagen Central Station is a 15-minute S-Bahn ride away, after about a 20-minute walk to the station.

I felt right at home in the Östergaard family home. The owners, Ingen and Leif, and their friendly German Shepherd, Lunte, made my two days lovely. I could enjoy the beautiful garden, and the quiet residential area was very attractive. There was even a great parking space right in front for my small truck. The room and bathroom were perfect, too. Arriving five hours before check-in wasn't a problem, which has been an issue at almost every other hotel. It’s a great walk into town, or 3.5 km to the beautiful beach of Ishoej. I only wish I could have stayed longer than two nights. I'll certainly come back on my next trip to Copenhagen.

The owners were so understanding and helpful, and the place was super cozy. Everything was cozy and up to a high standard. We'll stay here again next time we're on the island.
