Four Points Flex by Sheraton Ishøj

Both rooms were clean and well-kept, and the towels and linens were fresh, nice and white. I arrived after check-in and the mall had closed, but the signs from the train to the hotel door were great, and checking in was easy with the details they'd emailed me. The train is right there, and the price is right, even though it's a little way out of town. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The room was okay, with two beds, a table and a bathroom in decent condition. It wasn't luxurious, but it worked for us. There were a few big red spots on the carpet, though, hopefully not blood, haha. The view from the 8th floor was good, but we could hear a lot of movement above us, even when someone got into bed. The receptionist gave us a somewhat warm welcome, and the service was satisfactory, nothing special. It takes at least 30 minutes to get to the center by S bahn, and the tickets are pretty expensive, so getting here can add up. The hotel can also be hard to find. I'd heard the area might not be very safe, but I personally had no problems, probably because it's near the station and inside a shopping Mall. Still, be careful. It's an okay hotel, and the price is a bit much, though that's expected in Copenhagen. The location is pretty bad if you want to be close to the center.

Getting to Copenhagen Central station is easy, and the extra cost is worth it. Finding a place to park at night can be tricky if you don't know the tricks.

Copenhagen is really expensive, and other hotels cost three times as much, so this was good value despite the other reviews. The building is older, but my room was very clean. The lobby is on the 6th floor and the rooms are on the 8th. It's a three-minute walk to the train and a 30-minute walk to the beach.
