Gerlev Kro & Hotel

We stopped in for lunch, and the prices felt fair for the quality. The food was decent to good, just not extraordinary, which is why I gave it 4 stars. The place is really cosy and has a good ambiance, very "hyggeligt". It’s a nice way to try a typical Danish lunch without pretensions. I also want to thank the staff for being flexible with a more exigent member of our company.

My wife and I had a great evening and really enjoyed the food. It was the best shellfish buffet I’ve ever had. You’ll want to book a table well ahead, since the place gets packed for the buffets. We booked three weeks in advance. Yes, it’s that good. Highly recommended.

There isn’t much else around, so having a car is a good idea if you stay here. There’s a nice restaurant about 600m away. The hotel itself was nice and cozy, with spacious, clean, new rooms. The lounge has a self-service kiosk and some free water, juice and coffee. I liked it.

For a business trip, this is the best hotel in the area. The food is good, and the rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast is available on the second site, but the downside is that if you’re booked on that second sire of the hotel, you have to drive or walk to reach the restaurant.
