The location was fine and the rooms were okay, with shared bathrooms that were fine too. The kitchen is shared by everyone on the property, so people come and go. You can lock your room. Service was almost nonexistent: we were shown the room, told where the kitchen and bathrooms were, and some bed linen was pulled from a hallway closet. The next morning I found mold spots on my bed and told a staff member. She said it was fine to just cover them with bed linen. Thinking about it still makes me feel sick. It was absolutely disgusting. I can accept things needing repair, and that a place connected to horse stables might not be spotless, but actual mold in the bed is too much. With so many five-star reviews, I expected more consideration for guests' personal hygiene. I was glad to get home and scrub myself in my own shower. It was horrible. At least we only stayed one night, and we won't be back.
