I had to cancel after flooding in Norway kept us from reaching Denmark on the date we had planned. The free-cancellation deadline had already passed, so I was charged a 50% penalty, which was contractually correct. Still, Ad Apartments handled the situation unpleasantly. I wrote several times asking them to understand what had happened and waive the fee, but they ignored every message without even replying. Customer relations were very poor.

It felt far too expensive for what we got. The cleaning seemed to be only on the surface, and there was no sign of the property being maintained.

A car is really necessary here, since public transport connections are poor. The setting is quiet and very rural, with a lovely spa attached to the property. The owner was kind and helpful, and the WiFi was strong. Good value for the money.

The best part of our long work-related stay was celebrating Christmas and New Year's Eve with the owner and their family. We had such a lovely time with them, and it's an experience our family won't forget. The owner was very friendly, and the place felt like home. It had all the facilities we needed and more, from kitchen utensils and reliable hot and cold water to fast WiFi, a comfortable chair, and a bed. There was even a special trolley for our child and lots of toys. This was our second stay in Denmark, and we enjoyed it so much with the family. I don't have enough words to thank them.

The woman on the phone treated me very badly, like a drill sergeant. She said she'd charge 1000 kr if you smoke in the room. If you don't speak Danish, don't book here. They don't make you feel welcome.
