The pitches aren’t allocated, but there was plenty of room, with electrical hookups and markers showing the boundaries. All the amenities were available, though we didn’t use most of them. The showers were lovely and warm, and everything was very clean. We forgot to take pictures, but the website gives an accurate impression. This was a great place to stop on the way to or from Norway. We’d driven from Calais and arrived late, so we called ahead because we weren’t sure reception would still be open. The man there was helpful and said we could book online and arrive by 11 p.m. The booking confirmation included both the gate code and the toilet and shower block codes. Very efficient.

It’s cheap, and you get what you pay for. The owner seemed a bit rude, like they just wanted to make easy money. Still, if all you need is somewhere to pitch your tent and take a shower, it works.

A great place for a stop on the road. The cabin was clean, ready for us, and had the basic kitchen tools.

There’s a good selection of level pitches, with a few on a slight slope, and the grass is mostly well kept. Shops and the motorway, including the bridges toward Copenhagen, are very close. The facilities are almost perfect. One thing that would help is a sign showing where the entrance road is.
