Danhostel Kolding

We enjoyed our stays here twice during our summer holiday in Norway. The rooms were clean and tidy, with enough space for four of us to feel comfortable. Breakfast at youth hostel Kolding is a must, with fresh-baked rolls and a buffet that had everything we needed. Absolutely delicious, and the staff were very friendly.

We loved staying here. The rooms were spotless, and ours was right next to the kitchen, which was handy since it has lots of amenities. The location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the city center, and there’s free parking right by the room. Would recommend!

We couldn’t find a campsite in Kolding while cycling around Denmark’s coast, so we booked a room with private facilities through Booking.com. Our own bed linen was for a double bed, but the beds were single, so we hired linen. They kindly locked our bikes in the garage overnight. The ground-floor room was modern and had a table, chairs, and two single beds. We could wheel the bikes up to the door, unload our bags, then put the bikes away. The bathroom was very good, with a roomy shower and even a stool. If we get caught without a campsite again, we’ll look for a Danhostel.

The manager was really kind and helpful. They let us leave our bikes for more than 24 hours while we visited the Kolding area and sights on rainy days, and even let us update our blog after the usual checkout time. The place was clean and had a nice, fully equipped kitchen. Thanks for everything!
