The setting and atmosphere are what make this place work. The old buildings have plenty of charm, even if they could use an update, and the modern amenities are there too. It's in lovely surroundings.

8/10
The rooms are roomy, quiet, and have comfortable beds, and the hotel sits peacefully by the sea, away from the expressway and city. Service was especially nice in the restaurant, where the food was delicious and the local beer excellent. The bathroom was a major letdown, though: the toilet hadn't been cleaned, the bin was full, and the shower drained so badly that water spread across the whole bathroom. I still recommend the place, but the bathrooms could really use a general renovation soon.

I travel often for business and don't usually leave reviews, but the service here deserved one. The food was amazing too. Thanks, guys, I'll be back!

Breakfast was great, and the hotel is in a building with a lot of character. The location is beautiful, but the rooms felt small for the price. There also wasn't much for younger kids to do.

A cosy spot for a department gathering of around 50 people. The food was great, and the staff were warm and helpful.
