Hotel Svanegården

My room wasn't serviced for over a week, even after I asked several times. Avoid this place.

The room was clean and the bed was okay, but this place is only passable if you're in a pinch. I wouldn't choose it for a holiday or a weekend as a couple. The location is beautiful, yet the rooms have no soundproofing at all, so we heard snoring from around the hotel all night. The toilet wasn't fixed to the floor and nearly tipped over. The snack bar was well stocked, but the food tasted very artificial, and the cover music in the snack room was awful and sad. Prices don't match the service, especially when other hotels at the same level cost about the same and offer better standards, service, and location. My request for a bathing stool got no reply. They promote accessibility, but beyond being on ground level, there aren't extra provisions, and the corridor door to the rooms didn't look wide enough for a wheelchair. The only staff we saw on site were cleaners who seemed to be hired from abroad and didn't speak the local language, which made me wonder if they were underpaid.
