That Danish courtyard is something else, with lovely furnishings and Scandinavian craftsmanship that made us feel like royalty. The place still has the warm, welcoming feel of the old hostel, and we could use the shared kitchen, now stocked with top quality appliances, porcelain and cutlery. There are little luxuries everywhere, from spa quality shampoo and soap to a delicious, healthy breakfast. Tina was the best part, a wonderful, friendly hostess who really sets the standard for service. The Danish sign by the kitchen says “Make Yourself at Home,” and that’s exactly how it felt. We’ll be back soon, and often.

I booked a double bed and a private bathroom, but the room had separate beds that couldn’t be pushed together because they blocked the bathroom entrance. I said right away that we wouldn’t stay, as soon as I saw the setup. Nothing changed, and I didn’t get any money back, not even part of it. I exchanged messages with someone who seemed to keep finding reasons to blame me, even though this wasn’t the room I had booked. Very bad, and a real shame this happened.
