The place was worn and dirty, and at 850kr for one night I felt ripped off. There wasn’t a way to close the curtain by the door, which made it awkward with two small children and less than ideal in the morning. They’d also left only two linen packages for the four of us.

It was quite an okay place, with what you need. Breakfast was really nice, served in the shared dining room, with a reasonably good choice of food and drinks.

As a hostel, it’s quite nice. But Hotel Havnebakken is advertising it on Deal.dk as a CHARMING double room, and they can’t have seen the room. There’s nothing CHARMING about it.

The place feels used and a little worn, but it’s still super nice. Really cozy, with a lovely courtyard.
