The restaurant is nice and the food is good, with langoustines in everything. Breakfast was okay. The harbor view from the room was amazing, and the room was big enough with a spacious bathroom. But the toilet is so close to the shower that there’s too much empty space elsewhere, while your shoulder gets stuck against the wall. Cleaning wasn’t much to speak of. They made the beds but didn’t even vacuum the floor, so the sand we brought back from the beach stayed there all four days. The hotel is in the best location on all of Læsø.

We gave the restaurant another try after first eating there a couple of years ago. We liked the food then, though service had been slow. Yesterday’s lunch was worse: we waited to be seated and to order, and people who arrived after us got their food first. The food was fairly expensive and the portions small. The worst part was being charged 80 Danish krone (£10) for a small glass of white wine. I have no intention of coming back and absolutely can’t recommend the place.

We’ve eaten at the restaurant a couple of times and loved it. The food is wonderful, with amazing flavors, and the beers are gigantic at 0,75 Liter. The chef really knows how to cook.

The buffet was a tasty, high end treat 😋. Virginia lobster is a specialty on this island.
