We spotted Hotel Nygaard while driving past on Læsø last Saturday. It looked so appealing that we turned back to see if we could get a coffee. We ended up spending a lovely summer afternoon in the garden, with good filter coffee in a thermos and homemade blueberry pie. There was as much coffee as we wanted, and the pie was delicious. The prices were even lower than at a bakery we'd visited earlier, though the quality and service would have made a higher price feel fair. If you're on Læsø, stop by Hotel Nygaard. I can't recommend it enough.

The meal was okay, but nothing special. It seemed to be aiming for Michelin level, yet the flavor didn't live up to that, and it was a little bland for the price, which was far too high.

The fish was overcooked, and the service staff seemed poorly trained and uninformed.

We dropped in on a whim and got such a warm welcome. The service was unusually good, and everyone was super friendly.

We had a great night at Hotel Nygaard on Læsø while we were there for our concert with HITBOX. The cozy rooms, lovely setting, and warm atmosphere made it a wonderful stay. Thanks so much, we'd love to return.
